“Anti Family Violence Day” 反家暴日

On this special day, the Chinese Mental Health Consultation Services Charitable Trust is excited to announce the launch of our “Family Harmony Action” website and educational DVD. We will introduce our work “Family Harmony Action – Anti family violence projects, newly developed website, preventive and educational DVD for the Chinese community. ASpecial Ceremony – Take action together against family violence will be held as well.

Date: 11 May 2009 (Monday)
Time: 10:30am to 12 noon (snacks included).
Venue: St Lukes Community Centre, 130 Remuera Road, Remuera.

Mental Health Awareness Day and Week

Mental Health Awareness Week normally falls on the Monday to Sunday surrounding the 10th October. This years’ event will be begun from Mon 6 Oct until Sunday 12th Oct 2008. The theme of the awareness week will be set by the World Federation of Mental Health and adapted for New Zealand. Details will be announced soon.

【華心基金會】為了促進華人家庭的和諧，更配合政府整體推動的反家暴運動，在2007年中成立了『家和行動小組』，透過公開講座及中文媒體（報紙、電台、電視台、網站），致力向華人社區推展預防性的社區教育，以防止家庭暴力，促進家庭和諧，並宣導携手締造“ 零暴力”的和諧家庭及社會，以達到真正的『家和萬事興』。
